The Black Lion, Leighton Buzzard

Black Lion, Leighton BuzzardLocation: 20 High Street (but see below)
History: The Black Lion at its current location, dates from the late 19th Century, and opened following the closure of the old Black Lyon on the opposite side of the street. The present building had, however, been previously used as a pub and in the 17th century it was the Bullhead and in the mid 1700s it was trading as the Sow & Pigs.
