History: This
was the first public house in Eggington, and in 1822
was fully licensed as the Three Horse Shoes in
the Bedfordshire Quarter Sessions records. It retained
this name until the late 1800s when the name changed
to just The Horseshoes.

1920 and is now a private house called
Plough Cottage.
