War Memorial - Mentmore Road

The Linslade War Memorial was originally located at the junction of Old Road, Leighton Road and Wing Road in Linslade (as shown in the old postcard photo to the right). However, due to the increasing levels of traffic at this junction, the memorial was moved in 1955 to its current location of the Memorial Gardens, Mentmore Road, Linslade.

The Inscription on the memorial reads as follows:

1914 - 1918 To the memory of the men of Linslade who gave their lives for the Country in the Great War
