In the name of God Amen: This Third day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Sixe hundred Fiftie Nyne I Anthony Parnam of Leighton Busherd beinge sicke in bodie, Butt of perfect memory (Thankes bee given to God) doe make this my Last Will in manner and forme followeinge, First above all Worldly goods I give and bequeath my Soule into the hands of my onely Saviour and Redeemer Christ Jesus by whose Merritts I hope to bee saved, And my bodie to bee buried att the discretion of my Executor And as for my worldly goodes I give As Followeth Item I give unto my Sonne William Parnam Nyne Ridges of Arrable Land in the Common Feilds of Leighton aforesaid, and Twenty Poundes of Money The Land to enter uppon att the age of One and Twentie yeares, & the Twentie Poundes To bee paied to him by my Executor Att the Age of One and Twentie yeares (if hee soe longe shall live) Item I give unto Elizabeth Parnam my Eldest daughter Twentie Poundes To bee paied unto her att her age of One and Twentie yeare, if shee soe longe doe live Item I give unto Mary Parnam my second daughter The Sume of Twentie Poundes To bee paied unto her att her Age of One and Twentie yeare, if shee doth soe longe live, and theese Legacies to Remaine in my Executors handes till the tyme of payment aforesaid, And Further my Will and desires is That if either of my Children doe die before their Porc[i]ons or Legacies are due or payable by this my last Will That then his or her porc[i]on, That itt shall please God to take to his mercie shall bee Equally devided to the Survivours or those that are then alive All the Rest of my goodes, my debts and Legacyes beinge paied, my Funerall Expences discharged I say All the Rest of my goodes Cattells and Chattells I give unto Elizabeth Parna[m] my wife whom I make whole Executrixe of this my last Will and Testament In witnes here of I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the day and yeare above written, And I doe intreate my brother William Parnham To bee Overseere of this My last Will :/ Anthony Parnam marke :/ Sealed and delivered in the presence of us William Brew[er?] William Parnam :/
