In the name of God Amen The five and Twentyeth daie of November in the yeare of our Lord God According To the English Computac[i]on One Thousand six hundred fiftye and eight I Thomas Axtell of Laighton Bussard in the Countye of Bed[for]d Weaver being Aged sicke and weake of body yet of good and perfect remembrance praysed be god therefore doe make and declare this my last will and Testament in maner and forme followeing (that is to saye) First of all I yeeld and willingly submitt my soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker hopeing To be saved by and Through the merritts death and resurrec[i]on of Jesus Christ my saviour and redeemer and my body To the Earth from whence itt came To be decently buryed according to the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named And as touching my temporall Estate which god of his infinite mercy and goodnes hath beene pleased To bestowe upon mee farr above my deserts I dispose of the same as Followeth (that is to say) First I give and bequeath unto my loveing Wife Anne Axttell Twenty shillings of Lawfull English mony and alsoe one halfe headed Bedsteed And alsoe I give and bequeath unto my sayd wife all such goods and house hould stuffe as weare hers at the tyme of her Enter marriage with mee And alsoe I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth and Rebecca Robbisson the Two daughters of my sayd wife my Two sheare Ewe which I bought of Henry Walter And Alsoe I give and bequeath unto my sonne Thomas Axtell the sume of Three pounds of lyke English mony And alsoe I give unto my Daughter Alice one shilling And alsoe I give and bequeath unto my sayd sonne Thomas my loomes with all other my working Geare and Tooles belonging unto them, all other my goods and Chattells Whatsoever not hereby mee before willed and bequeathed my debts and legacyes paid and my Funerall expences discharged I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Axtell whome I doe make Constitute and ordayne To be sole executrix of this my last will and Testament utterlie revoking and makeing voyd and Null all Former Wills and bequests Whatsoever By me made or done Eighter by Word or writeing and This onlie is to be taken as my last will and none other In Witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare First above written

Memorandum That theise words (and alsoe I give unto my daughter Alice one shilling) was Enterlined in the eighteenth line hereof before the ensealing hereof Thomas Axtell Sealed Signed Published and Declared in the presence of Bennitt Walter Anthoney Pasnian John Chapman
