Photo showing some of the exhibits in the Corn Exchange. At the back of the room can be seen the stand of the Messrs. Piggott, who were the Leighton Buzzard photographers responsible for these exhibition photos. On the balcony is an American organ by Mason & Hamlin and supplied by Mr R Purrett of Leighton. The organ was used for recitals in the evenings during the exhibition. Amongst the various hunting trophies mounted on the front rail of the balcony are those of a walrus and a moose, which were shot in South America by P. Duncombe, Esq. The lights that can be seen hanging from the ceiling were also part of the exhibition being lit electrically by Mr. Richmond, jun. who occupied the ante room, where he was also able to electrically monitor fire alarms.
